The crucial part of online shopping, getting your order delivered to you. In 2019, we shipped orders to customers in over 80 countries around the world. We know this is a lot of miles for our parcels to travel, with a large potential impact on the environment.
We work with our couriers to reduce this impact. Royal Mail and all any subsequent national carriers (USPS, Australia Post, Swiss Post etc), invest in carbon offset programmes such as Woodland Trust’s Carbon Plus+, which plants native trees in the UK.
Our European customers have their orders delivered through the DPD network across the continent. From 2018, DPD have offset 100% of the carbon generated from their delivery network, making your orders effectively carbon neutral! On top of this, they are working to expand their fleet of electric vehicles, and they aim to reduce the carbon footprint for each of their parcels by 30% by 2025!
Lastly, for some of our international customers who might need their orders a bit quicker, we offer express worldwide shipping service through DHL. As one of the largest courier networks in the world, DHL are thoroughly invested in a number of carbon offset projects, including reforestation programmes and minimising their global carbon footprint.
